Simple Supper of Soup and Bread at 5:00 p.m.
Study from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Simon Peter is, after Jesus, the single most important figure in the gospels. He’s mentioned more than all of the other disciples combined. By his words and action, he sheds light on Jesus and represents each of us. The gospels show both Peter’s cowardice and his courage but Jesus saw in him what others did not: a rock on which to build his church.
Simon Peter: Flawed But Faithful Disciple shows us that we are all like Peter – flawed disciples striving to be faithful. As you read and hear more about Peter, you will learn more about Jesus and yourself.
Study books are $14. Please sign up in the Narthex or call the church office to have us order you a book. Deadline to sign up for the study book is January 14.
